1. Try to be realistic when it comes to your chosen plan of fat loss. Remember that fast weight loss does not necessarily garner long lasting results. If you lose weight too quickly ( the six week body makeover) it may be too much of a jump for your body to adjust. It’s a lot healthier to regard your fat loss plan as something that will get you the quickest healthy results possible, but not necessarily the fastest way there is. After all, if you’re only goal is fat weight loss without any consideration for the consequences then you could simply stop eating and over-exercise. Obviously this is not the way to go, so choosing a plan and having realistic goals is the best way to get started.

2. Remember that no chosen fat loss plan is going to be free from difficulty. There will be days when you don’t feel like exercising at all. There will also be moments when you feel like pigging-out on your favourite snack. If you happen to stray from your plan, don’t beat yourself up over it or try to overcompensate. Allow for the fact that you are only human and sometimes you will deviate from a prescribed schedule. Punishing yourself mentally will do no good, so just triy to get back on track as soon as you can. Give yourself a break from time to time, then get back to the exercise equipment when you can.

3. Many people who pursue fast weight loss tips get obsessed with the numbers they see on a scale. You are going to see fluctuations no matter how successful your weight loss plan is. And remember that if you build up your muscle mass you might experience a period where you actually you weigh more. Don’t neglect that this is a healthy type of weight gain that will eventually result in a healthier metabolism. Constantly getting on and off the scale can throw off your focus for an overall healthy your body.

4. Remember that you are much more than your weight. Don’t forget about your positive personality traits and the things that make you unique. Being overweight is not the end of the world and it’s not a situation that can’t be remedied. It can be hard to see anything else when you look in the mirror and trying to lose belly fat, but in addition to pursuing a course of healthy fat loss don’t forget about other aspects of your life. Stimulate yourself intellectually and take measures to relieve stress. When you are trying to lose weight everything comes together to either contribute to, or distract you, from your goal.

5. It helps to catalogue your feelings and emotions in a journal or diary. You are undoubtedly going to have a myriad of thoughts when you are trying to lose weight. It’s OK to feel bad some days, and it’s perfectly natural to get dejected. Go ahead and write what you feel into your journal so that you have some outlet for your experience. Try your best to stick with your plan and come back periodically to read how far you’ve come along. There will be important nuggets of information that you give yourself that you can use to adapt your weight loss plan. Remember that mistakes are important opportunities to learn from, and it will be much easier to do so if you have everything written down.

6. The whole process of trying for fast weight loss will be made increasingly difficult without a support system. So don’t try to do it all by yourself or you risk getting isolated and letting negative thoughts brew. Get in touch with friends or family members who you can turn to for support. Sometimes even sharing stories over a cup of coffee can be incredibly motivating when you realize that you are not alone. There are also plenty of support groups and online communities that were created solely for the purpose of helping people in this way.
